Dr Robert Mason is a specialist radiologist with over 25 years of experience.

After graduating as a doctor from the University of Queensland he completed his residency at The Royal Brisbane Hospital and his Radiology specialist training at multiple Queensland hospitals including Greenslopes Repatriation Hospital, the Mater Children’s Hospital and the Gold Coast General Hospital.

Following his Radiology Specialist training he completed subspecialty fellowships in Musculoskeletal Radiology and Neuroradiology at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, USA.

He has been responsible for running the Neuroradiology and the Musculoskeletal Radiology meetings for South Coast Radiology on the Gold Coast for over 20 years and he has given numerous lectures in his subspeciality fields. Although Musculoskeletal Radiology and Neuroradiology are his areas of special interest, he has considerable expertise in most areas of radiology.

Qualifying as a general radiographer at QUT in 1997 (B.Applied Science – MRT), Jeremy went on to undertake a Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound (QUT), becoming an ASAR registered sonographer in 2009. ASMIRT MRI Level 1 accreditation was achieved in 2015.

In addition to offering basic musculoskeletal (MSK), general, obstetric, gynaecological & vascular ultrasound studies, Jeremy’s skillset covers many of the more advanced techniques, particularly in the areas of MSK & vascular. With a special interest in low dose CT scanning, he enjoys the imaging correlation of anatomy & pathology across the modalities, especially between MSK ultrasound & MRI. Having held various management positions with large & small organisations over the past 20 years, Jeremy now looks to use his considerable multi-modality clinical experience for the benefit of his patients, providing efficient, quality care in the same way he would to his own family – the ‘My Family Test’.

Jeremy can communicate with the hearing-impaired community through the use of basic signed English.

NorAzhar Ashak is a highly trained Radiographer who obtained a Bachelor Degree in Applied Science (Medical Radiation) – Medical Imaging from the Queensland University of Technology in 2010. He won the following academic awards 1) Dean’s Merit Award – 2007 2) Dean’s Merit Award – 2008 3) Dean’s Merit Award – 2009 4) Agfa-Gevaert/ Australian Institute of Radiography Prize.

Since his graduation he has obtained vast clinical experience in advanced imaging particularly in the fields of CT and MRI.

He is focused on delivering a high-quality service within a caring and friendly environment.

He speaks Malay and English.
