The OPG ( orthopantomogram ) and the lateral cephalogram are special types of x-rays performed of your teeth, face and jaws. This imaging is mostly used by dentists to assess the position of teeth, the condition of the teeth and the amount of periodontal disease. It is often needed for the planning of your treatment by the dentist.
